At the beginning of last December, Carlos Vives returned to the stage with his tour “After all you live” by the United States, which will also take him to Canada and Puerto Rico, however, the tour production company announced this Wednesday, January 5, that the concerts had to be suspended and rescheduled for the end of the year due to the rebound in positive cases of Covid-19.
“This difficult decision has been made in a prudent manner to ensure the well-being and health of the entire community,” Nelson Albareda, founder and president of Loud and Live, organizer of the tour, said in a statement.
Loud And Live pointed out that the idea is “to protect the health of the public, artists and work teams, due to the growing wave of Covid-19 cases throughout the country”, which have increased considerably due to the contagious variant omicron.
The pending tour dates, which included a total of 13 US and two Canadian cities, they will be rescheduled during the months of September and October.
“We appreciate your understanding, regretting the inconvenience this may cause to those who already had their tickets. Detailed information with the new dates will be announced in the coming days and purchased tickets will remain valid”Concluded the newsletter.
The first two cities in which Carlos began his journey were packed with audiences in which his followers from Miami gathered at the FTX Arena and in Orlando, to delight in his extensive repertoire of three decades of musical successes.
Vives planned to continue the presentations from next January 13 in the city of Seattle, Washington, to end at the Coliseo San Juan, Puerto Rico, in March.
“It is a historic moment after everything we’ve been through. Being able to return to so many beloved places to meet again with unforgettable friends, returning to North America with such a special audience gives me a lot of emotion, ”the two-time Grammy Award winner told EFE in June 2021.
