Employee stabbed co-worker at New Jersey ShopRite supermarket

Melissa Prince, an employee of a ShopRite supermarket in Clark, New Jersey, chased a colleague and stabbed her several times with a knife inside the store, authorities said.

Prince, 57, of Edison, was arrested without incident Sunday at the grocery store, where she stabbed her co-worker after an “altercation,” police said in a statement.

Other staff members and an off-duty state trooper intervened after the attacksaid a ShopRite spokeswoman, Maureen Gillespie. He added that Prince had worked there for more than eight years.
