Another possible member of the “MS-13” captured with drugs and firearms in Honduras

This Thursday afternoon, through intelligence work by Honduran police officers, they managed to arrest an alleged active member of the Organized Criminal Group “MS-13”.

As detailed in the police report, the subject was detained for assuming him responsible for the crimes of illicit drug trafficking in its modality of illegal possession and carrying of a firearm of prohibited use.

The case involves a 22-year-old day laborer, known by the alias “Maycol”; Originally from and resident in the Buenos Aires village of the municipality of Tela, Atlántida, Honduras.

At the time of his arrest, the authorities seized a package of dried herb, alleged marijuana, an AK-47 war rifle and its respective magazine with 20 non-striking projectiles, as well as a Beretta pistol-type firearm with four non-striking projectiles and a cell phone.

According to police investigations, the man is engaged in the sale and distribution of drugs, hit men, extortion and assaults in the municipality of Tela and surrounding villages.

For his part, the suspect was placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry for the corresponding legal process.
