The maximum number of COVID-19 cases reported in one day in Jalisco exceeded for the second day in a row. The Radar system confirmed this Thursday two thousand 506 infections, which is the maximum figure reported in a single day since the health contingency began, in March 2020. The total accumulated cases reached 419 thousand 888. It is also reported that 4,525 tests that were applied to suspected cases were discarded and did not come back positive.
In addition, they were reported nine more deaths, the accumulated reached 17 thousand 700 deaths. In terms of hospitalizations, it accounts for 307 patients hospitalized in public hospitals and 43 in private hospitals.
In the first wave of infections, the maximum peak of cases was recorded on January 22, 2021 when there were 2,148 infections in the daily report, in addition to 101 reported deaths and 1,799 people hospitalized from the virus.
In the second wave, on August 6, 2021, 1,888 cases were registered, 52 deaths and 1,700 hospitalized patients.
