Laziness is avoided a lot, because sometimes you think that you would make some rolls, cookies, biscuits or anything else, but considering the time it takes to heat the oven, prepare the dough, bake, cool… Of course, the microwave has often freed us from that laziness, but now that the fryer without oil or airfryer has become the star of the kitchen (always after pots, pans and pans), which is so easy to use and clean, and quick depending on what you do, that we are back with an air fryer recipe .

This time we teach you how to make some soft, delicious and healthy oatmeal and yogurt muffins. Do not think that they are some kind of brioche buns with chocolate chips like the commercial ones, not even like the ones we can make at home in the oven, for example, following this recipe. These chocolate muffins are made in less than half an hour and with two basic ingredients, flour and yogurt, although we combine two types of flour without gluten, flavored with vanilla, sweetened slightly… The result is tender buns, but not fluffy like a brioche, with a very rich flavor, try it and tell us.

Ingredients (4 units)

  • 75 grams of finely ground oatmeal
  • 50 grams of finely ground almond flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • a pinch of salt
  • 125 grams of whole natural yogurt
  • a few drops of vanilla extract
  • 40 grams of dark chocolate drops
  • w/n of sweetener or sweetener (to taste)
  • c/n of milk.

Elaboration

Put in a bowl fine oatmeal, the fine almond flour and the baking powder, mix well and if you wish, add a pinch of salt to enhance flavors.

Add the plain yogurt, the vanilla extract and if you wish, the sweetener or sweetener to taste, we have added a teaspoon of liquid sweetener.

Oatmeal and yogurt muffins

Mix with a spoon until all the ingredients are combined, then you can start manipulating the dough with your hands and knead briefly.

Incorporate the chocolate drops so that they are distributed in the dough and then make four portions of about 60 grams about. Form a ball with each piece and brush it with a little milk so that it has a better color after cooking.

Arrange the pieces to make the buns in the basket of the air fryer and program 20 minutes at 145º C. The time can vary minute up or down, you know, as it happens with ovens.

Finish and presentation

Remove the oatmeal, yogurt and chocolate muffins from airfryer and put them on a wire rack to cool. And ready to enjoy. Enjoy your meal!
